How listings work

Every listing starts from public government data. This page explains what we change and what we don't.

Where the data comes from

The Government of Alberta publishes the private sewage systems installer certification list under the Open Government Licence – Alberta. We use the edition certified as of 4 August 2026.

What we change

  • We group certificate holders by company name and phone number, giving 757 businesses.
  • We don't publish the names of individual certificate holders.
  • We leave out entries with no company name, entries outside Alberta, and municipal employers.

Claims and corrections

Businesses can claim a listing for free. We confirm claims using the phone number on the provincial list before publishing changes. Anyone can request a correction or removal.

Ratings and placement

We don't publish ratings or reviews. Free listings are shown alphabetically. Optional featured placement is coming soon, and any featured listing will be clearly labelled.
